Abu Bakr, bc573,

Prophet Muhammad, was first caliph ("successor") after the Prophet's death in

Muhammad, Abu Bakr led the Muslim community from 632 to 634, but his caliphate

Abu Bakr
(573-634), was the first Muslim caliph (632-634), and father of Aisha, the wife
of the Prophet Muhammad. Abu Bakr (573-634), fue el primer califa
musulmán (632-634), y padre de Aisha, la esposa del Profeta Muhammad.
He was born in Mecca and became
Muhammad's most trusted follower, accompanying him on the Hegira. Él

acompaña en la Hégira. After Muhammad died, Abu Bakr was made
caliph, or successor to the Prophet, by an assembly of the faithful.

tribes from reverting to heathenism and fought successfully against Persia and
