The Agrapha of Jesus is a term coined by 18th-century German scholar JG Körner for sayings attributed to Jesus Christ that are not contained in the Gospels. In addition to sayings preserved in extracanonical sources, there are several that occur within the text of the New Testament but outside the Gospels. A name first used, in 1776, by JG Körner, for the Sayings of Jesus that have come down to us outside the canonical Gospels.
