Holy Saturday commemorates the burial of Christ; midnight vigil services inaugurate the Easter celebration of the resurrection. السبت المقدس يحيى دفن المسيح ؛ منتصف الليل فيجيل خدمات يفتتح الاحتفال بعيد الفصح القيامة. Holy Week is sometimes called the "Great Week" by Roman Catholic and Orthodox Christians because it commemorates the great deeds of God for humankind. الاسبوع المقدس يسمى احيانا "الاسبوع العظيم" من قبل الروم الكاثوليك والمسيحيين الارثوذكس لأنه يحيي فإن الله عظيمة للبشرية.

Holy Week is the week preceding Easter, observing in a special manner the passion and death of Jesus Christ. الاسبوع المقدس هو الاسبوع السابق لعيد الفصح ، في مراقبة خاصة بطريقة الحماسه وفاة السيد المسيح. It may also be called the Greater Week in remembrance of the great work performed by God during that week. كما يمكن ان يطلق عليه اكبر في ذكرى اسبوع من اعظم الاعمال التي انجزها الله خلال هذا الاسبوع. It may be called the Paschal Week in reference to the coming resurrection. قد يسمى عيد الفصح الاسبوع ، في اشارة الى القيامة القادمة. Athanasius of Alexandria used the phrase "Holy Week" in the fourth century. اثناسيوس تستخدم عبارة "الاسبوع المقدس" في القرن الرابع. It is sometimes referred to as the week of remission because confession is one of the experiences asked of some Christians in preparation for the celebration of Easter. يشار اليها احيانا باعتباره اسبوع مغفره لأن الاعتراف هو واحد من الخبرات وطلب من المسيحيين في بعض تحضيرا للاحتفال بعيد الفصح. Holy Thursday, or Maundy Thursday, as part of Holy Week is properly called Thursday of the Lord's Supper. الخميس المقدس ، او خميس العهد ، وكجزء من الاسبوع المقدس هو سليم دعا الخميس من العشاء الرباني. It commemorates the changing of bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ. انه يحيي المتغيره من الخبز والخمر الى الجسم والدم يسوع المسيح. Mass on Holy Thursday is celebrated in the evening. الكتلة علي الخميس المقدس هو الذي يحتفل به في المساء.
Good Friday is the anniversary of the crucifixion of our Lord; it is a day of sorrow. الجمعة العظيمة هو ذكرى صلب ربنا ؛ وهو يوم من الحزن. Its full title is "Friday of the passion and death of the Lord." عنوانه الكامل هو "الجمعة من العاطفه وموت الرب". The liturgical section includes (1) the reading service, (2) the veneration of the cross, (3) the Communion service. فان طقوسي ويضم القسم (1) قراءة الخدمة ، و (2) من التبجيل الصليب ، (3) وبالتواصل الخدمة. The service of the stations of the cross is optional. خدمة محطات الصليب هو اختياري.
Holy Saturday is usually a quiet day of prayer and reflection in preparation for the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. السبت المقدس هو عادة هادءه اليوم من الصلاة والتأمل في الاعداد للاحتفال القيامة ربنا يسوع المسيح على احد الفصح.
