Council of Ferrara-Florence مجلس فيرارا - فلورنسا

The Council of Ferrara-Florence (1438-45), held successively at Ferrara, Florence, and Rome, was an ecumenical council of the Roman Catholic church convened for the primary purpose of ending the schism between that church and the Eastern Orthodox Church. مجلس فيرارا - فلورنسا (1438-45) ، تقام على التوالي في فيرارا ، فلورنسا ، وروما ، وكان المجلس المسكوني للكنيسة الروم الكاثوليك التي عقدت لانهاء الغرض الرئيسي من هذا الانشقاق بين الكنيسة الشرقية والكنيسة الارثوذكسيه. The council also negotiated reunion with several smaller eastern churches (the Armenian Church, Nestorian Church, Jacobite Church, and Eastern Rite Churches) and challenged the conciliar theory (see Conciliarism) enunciated at the councils of Constance and Basel. المجلس ايضا عن طريق التفاوض مع عدد من ريونيون اصغر الكنائس الشرقية (الكنيسة الارمينيه ، nestorian الكنيسة ، كنيسة يعقوبي ، وطقوس الكنائس الشرقية) وتحدت conciliar من الناحية النظريه (انظر conciliarism) التي اعلن عنها في مجالس كونستانس وبازل.
