A Christian liturgical season, Advent is the period of preparation for both Christmas and the Second Coming of Christ. مسيحي طقوسي الموسم ، وظهور ما هي فترة التحضير لعيد الميلاد ورأس كل من المجيء الثاني المسيح. Advent (adventus, coming, arrival) is the season of the ecclesiastical year when the church prepares to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ (Christmas) and engages in self-examination in expectation of his second coming in glory to judge the living and the dead. مجيء (adventus ، المقبلة ، وصول) هو الموسم من السنة الكنسيه في الكنيسة عندما تستعد للاحتفال بميلاد يسوع المسيح (عيد الميلاد) ويشارك في الفحص الذاتي في انتظار المجيء الثاني في بلدة مجد للحكم على الأحياء والأموات . The collects and Scripture readings embrace these two themes. وقد تجمع الكتاب وقراءات احتضان هذين الموضوعين. It begins in the West on the Sunday nearest to St. Andrew's Day (Nov. 30) and always includes four Sundays. وهي تبدأ في الغرب يوم الاحد الاقرب الى عيد القديس اندرو (30 تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر) ودائما يشمل اربعة ايام الآحاد. However, in the East the period is longer, beginning earlier in November. ومع ذلك ، في الشرق فترة اطول ، في وقت سابق في بداية تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر.
