It is generally agreed that the story of the death of Zacharias (chs. xxii-xxiv) does not properly belong to the text. ومن المتفق عليه عموما ان قصة وفاة zacharias (chs. '22-'24) لا تعود إلى النص. Origen and other early writers give a different account of the cause of His death: it was, they say, because, after the Nativity, he still allowed Mary to take her place among the virgins in the Temple. اوريجانوس وغيرها من أوائل الكتاب يعطي حساب مختلف من سبب وفاته : كان يقولون ، لانه ، وبعد الميلاد ، وقال انه لا يزال يسمح لماري تتخذ لها مكانة بين العذارى في المعبد.
Difficulty is also caused by the sudden introduction of Joseph as the narrator in ch. وتكمن الصعوبه ايضا تسببها المفاجئ مقدمة من جوزيف حسب الراوي في الفصل xviii. ثامن عشر. 2 sqq. 2 sqq. 2 Now the great day of the Lord drew nigh and the children of Israel offered their gifts. 2 الآن ذلك اليوم العظيم يوم الرب اقترب منه ووجه بني اسرائيل عرضت على الهدايا. And Reuben stood over against him saying: It is not lawful for thee to offer thy gifts first,-forasmuch as thou hast gotten no seed in Israel. روبن وقفت ضده اكثر من قوله : انه لا يجوز قانونا للاليك لتقديم الهدايا خاصتك الاولى ، forasmuch - كما أنت لا يمتلك بدأت البذور في اسرائيل.
3 And Ioacim was sore grieved, and went unto the record of the twelve tribes of the people, saying: I will look upon the record of the twelve tribes of Israel, whether I only have not gotten seed in Israel. 3 وكان ioacim قرحة الحزن ، وذهب ILA سجل الاثني عشر قبائل من الناس ، وقال : انني سوف ننظر الى سجل من اثني عشر من قبائل اسرائيل ، هل انا فقط لم البذور بدأت في اسرائيل. And he searched, and found concerning all the righteous that they had raised up seed in Israel. وقال انه تم البحث ، وجدت فيما يتعلق بجميع الصالحين انهم قد تصل البذور التي اثيرت في اسرائيل. And he remembered the patriarch Abraham, how in the last days God gave him a son, even Isaac. وانه يذكر البطريرك ابراهام ، كيف في الايام الماضية الله وقدم له ابنا ، وحتى اسحق.
4 And Ioacim was sore grieved, and showed not himself to his wife, but betook himself into the wilderness, and pitched his tent there, and fasted forty days and forty nights, saying within himself: I will not go down either for meat or for drink until the Lord my God visit me, and my prayer shall be unto me meat and drink. 4 وكان ioacim قرحة حزنها ، وأظهر نفسه ليست زوجته ، ولكن betook نفسه الى البرية ، وصاحب بنصب خيمة هناك ، وصام اربعين يوما واربعين ليلة ، داخل نفسه قائلا : انا لن تنخفض اما بالنسبة للحوم او لل اشرب حتى الرب الهي زيارة لي ، وصلاتي يكون لي ILA اللحوم والشراب.
2 And the great day of the Lord drew nigh, and Judith her handmaid said unto her: How long humblest thou thy soul? (2) ، ويوم عظيم من الرب وجه اقترب منه ، وقالت جوديث ILA خادمة وقال لها : كم انت تواضعا خاصتك الروح؟ The great day of the Lord hath come, and it is not lawful for thee to mourn: but take this headband, which the mistress of my work gave me, and it is not lawful for me to put it on, forasmuch as I am an handmaid, and it hath a mark of royalty. اليوم العظيم يوم الرب هاث حان ، وأنه لا يجوز قانونا للاليك حدادا على : ولكن اغتنم هذه العصابه ، التي العشيقه من اعمالي اعطاني ، وانه لا يجوز قانونا ان اضع على أنها ، كما forasmuch أنا خادمة ، وانها هاث علامة الاتاوه. And Anna said: Get thee from me. وانا وقال : لي إليك من الحصول. Lo! صغرى! I have done nothing (or I will not do so) and the Lord hath greatly humbled me: peradventure one gave it to thee in subtlety, and thou art come to make me partaker in thy sin. انني لم تفعل شيئا (او انني لن تفعل ذلك) والرب هاث كثيرا بالضاله لي : في حالة واحدة لانها اعطت اليك في دقة ، وانت تأتي الي الفن تجعلني المشارك في خاصتك الخطيئة. And Judith said: How shall I curse thee, seeing the Lord hath shut up thy womb, to give thee no fruit in Israel? وقالت جوديث : كيف يجوز لعنة لي اليك ، لرؤية الرب هاث اخرس خاصتك رحم ، لإعطاء أي فاكهه اليك في اسرائيل؟
3 And Anna was sore grieved [and mourned with a great mourning because she was reproached by all the tribes of Israel. 3 وكانت آنا قرحة حزنها [وحزن كبير مع الحداد لأنها كانت اللوم من جانب جميع قبائل اسرائيل. And coming to herself she said: What shall I do? والمقبلة لنفسها وقالت : ماذا سأفعل؟ I will pray with weeping unto the Lord my God that he visit me]. سأصلي مع البكاء ILA الرب الهي أنه زيارة لي]. And she put off her mourning garments and cleansed (or adorned) her head and put on her bridal garments: and about the ninth hour she went down into the garden to walk there. واعربت عن تأجيل لها الحداد وتطهير الملابس (او زين) ووضع رأسها على ملابس الزفاف هي : وحوالي الساعة التاسعه وقالت انها تراجعت الى الحديقة مشيا الى هناك. And she saw a laurel-tree and sat down underneath it and besought the Lord saying: O God of our fathers, bless me, and hearken unto my prayer, as thou didst bless the womb of Sarah, and gavest her a son, even Isaac. ورأت أ - شجرة غار وجلست تحت وانها تمس الرب قائلا : يا رب من آبائنا ، وبارك لي ، واصغ اليه ILA صلاتي ، وكما انت didst يبارك رحم سارة ، وgavest لها ابنا ، وحتى اسحق .
2 Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? 2 ويل لي ، وانا ما ILA تشبيه؟ I am not likened unto the fowls of the heaven, for even the fowls of the heaven are fruitful before thee, O Lord. انا لا تشبه ILA فان الطيور من السماء ، لأنه حتى الطيور من السماء تكون مثمره من قبلك ، يا رب. Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? ويل لي ، وانا ما ILA تشبيه؟ I am not likened unto the beasts of the earth, for even the beasts of the earth are fruitful before thee, O Lord. انا لا تشبه ILA فان حيوانات من الارض ، حتى بالنسبة للحيوانات الأرض هي المثمر من قبلك ، يا رب. Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? ويل لي ، وانا ما ILA تشبيه؟ I am not likened unto these waters, for even these waters are fruitful before thee, O Lord. انا لا تشبه ILA هذه المياه ، لانه حتى هذه المياه المثمر من قبلك ، يا رب.
3 Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? 3 ويل لي ، وانا ما ILA تشبيه؟ I am not likened unto this earth, for even this earth bringeth forth her fruits in due season and blesseth thee, O Lord. انا لا تشبه ILA هذه الارض ، بل من اجل هذه الارض bringeth اليها هي الثمار في الموسم بسبب blesseth واليك يا رب.
2 And behold there came two messengers saying unto her: Behold Ioacim thy husband cometh with his flocks: for an angel of the Lord came down unto him saying: Ioacim, Ioacim, the Lord God hath hearkened unto thy prayer. 2 ها هناك وجاء ساعيان ILA قائلا لها : ها ioacim خاصتك الزوج ان يأتي مع قطعان له : لملاك الرب نزل ILA له قائلا : ioacim ، ioacim ، الرب الاله هاث ILA خاصتك مصغي الى الصلاة. Get thee down hence, for behold thy wife Anna hath conceived. احصل بينك أسفل ومن ثم ، لخاصتك الزوجه ها أنا هاث تصورها.
3 And Ioacim sat him down and called his herdsmen saying: Bring me hither ten lambs without blemish and without spot, and they shall be for the Lord my God; and bring me twelve tender calves, and they shall be for the priests and for the assembly of the elders; and an hundred kids for the whole people. 3 وioacim جلست اليه ، ودعا الى اسفل بلدة الرعاه يقول : جعل لي أقرب عشرة الحملان دون عيب ودون بقعة ، ويكون هؤلاء من اجل الرب الهي ؛ وجعل لي اثنا عشر العطاء العجول ، ويجوز للكهنه ولل جمعية الشيوخ ؛ وجود مئات من اطفال لشعب بأكمله.
4 And behold Ioacim came with his flocks, and Anna stood at the gate and saw Ioacim coming, and ran and hung upon his neck, saying: Now know I that the Lord God hath greatly blessed me: for behold the widow is no more a widow, and she that was childless shall conceive. 4 وجاء ها ioacim مع قطعان بلده ، وانا وقفت عند البوابه وشهدت ioacim القادمة ، ويتعارض مع ومعلق على عنقه ، ويقول : انا الآن أعرف أن الرب الاله هاث كثيرا المباركه لي : ها لارمله لا اكثر أ ارمله ، وقالت إنه كان يتعين تصور بدون اطفال. And Ioacim rested the first day in his house. وioacim تقع في اول يوم في منزله.
2 And her months were fulfilled, and in the ninth month Anna brought forth. 2 وقالت اشهر تم الوفاء ، وفي الشهر التاسع انا جلبت اليها. And she said unto the midwife: what have I brought forth? وقالت ILA القابلة : ما قد أحضرت اليها؟ And she said: A female. وقالت : امرأة. And Anna said: My soul is magnified this day, and she laid herself down. وانا وقال : روحي هو تضخيم هذا اليوم ، وقالت انها وضعت نفسها الى اسفل. And when the days were fulfilled, Anna purified herself and gave suck to the child and called her name Mary. وعندما تم الوفاء بها يوما ، وانا في تنقية نفسه واعطى لامتصاص الطفل ، ودعا اسمها مريم.
2 And the first year of the child was fulfilled, and Ioacim made a great feast and bade the priests and the scribes and the assembly of the elders and the whole people of Israel. (2) ، والسنة الاولى للطفل هو الوفاء ، وioacim تقدم كبير عيد زايد والكهنه والكتاب وجمعية الشيوخ والشعب كله من إسرائيل. And Ioacim brought the child to the priests, and they blessed her, saying: 0 God of our fathers, bless this child and give her a name renowned for ever among all generations. وioacim جلب الطفل الى الكهنه ، وانهم المباركه لها ، قائلا : 0 الله من آبائنا ، وليبارك هذا الطفل ويعطى لها اسم وشهرة من أي وقت مضى لمن بين جميع الاجيال. And all the people said: So be it, so be it. وجميع الشعب وقال : حتى يكون عليه ، حتى يكون عليه. Amen. آمين. And he brought her to the high priests, and they blessed her, saying: 0 God of the high places, look upon this child, and bless her with the last blessing which hath no successor. واحضر لها الى ارتفاع الكهنه ، وانهم المباركه لها ، قائلا : 0 الله من أماكن مرتفعة ، ننظر الى هذا الطفل ، وأبارك لها مع الماضي النعمة التي لا هاث الخلف.
3 And her mother caught her up into the sanctuary of her bed chamber and gave her suck. 3 والدتها لها حتى اشتعلت في الملجأ من سريرها قاعة واعطتها الامتصاص.
And Anna made a song unto the Lord God, saying: وأنا قدمت اغنية ILA الرب الاله ، قائلا :
I will sing an hymn unto the Lord my God, because he hath visited me and taken away from me the reproach of mine enemies, and the Lord hath given me a fruit of his righteousness, single and manifold before him. انني سوف يغني احد ILA ترنيمه الرب الهي ، لأنه هاث زار لى واتخذ بعيدا عني اللوم الالغام اعداء ، والرب هاث اعطتني فاكهه بلدة الاستقامه ، وحيد ومتشعبه قبله. Who shall declare unto the sons of Reuben that Anna giveth suck? منظمة الصحة العالمية تعلن ILA ابناء روبن ان تمتص giveth أنا؟ Hearken, hearken, ye twelve tribes of Israel, that Anna giveth suck. اصغ اليه ، واصغ اليه ، وانتم اثنا عشر من قبائل اسرائيل ، إن انا giveth الامتصاص. And she laid the child to rest in the bed chamber of her sanctuary, and went forth and ministered unto them. وقالت انها وضعت الطفل في الراحة في السرير غرفة ملاذا لها ، وذهب اليها وministered ILA لهم. And when the feast was ended, they sat them down rejoicing, and glorifying the God of Israel. وعندما كان العيد انتهى ، جلسا الى اسفل ابتهاج لهم ، ويسبحون الله من اسرائيل.
2 And the child became three years old, and Ioacim said: Call for the daughters of the Hebrews that are undefiled, and let them take every one a lamp, and let them be burning, that the child turn not backward and her heart be taken captive away from the temple of the Lord. (2) ، وأصبح الطفل ثلاث سنوات من العمر ، وioacim قال : الكلمه للبنات اليهود التي هي غير مدنس ، واجعلهم يأخذ كل واحد كل مصباح ، ودعوهم يكون الحرق ، ان الطفل بدوره وليس الى الوراء وقلبها الواجب اتخاذها اسيرة بعيدا عن معبد الرب. And they did so until they were gone up into the temple of the Lord. وفعلوا ذلك حتى انها ارتفعت الى معبد الرب.
And the priest received her and kissed her and blessed her and said: The Lord hath magnified thy name among all generations: in thee in the latter days shall the Lord make manifest his redemption unto the children of Israel. والكاهن وحصلت على مقبل وقالت والمباركه لها وقال : الرب هاث تضخيم اسم خاصتك بين جميع الاجيال : اليك في هذه الايام يقوم الرب جعل تتجلى له الفداء ILA بني اسرائيل. And he made her to sit upon the third step of the altar. وقال انه قدم لها على الجلوس على الخطوة الثالثة للمذبح. And the Lord put grace upon her and she danced with her feet and all the house of Israel loved her. والرب وضع غريس على بلدها وقالت انها رقصت مع قدميها وجميع بيت اسرائيل عاشقا لها.
And Mary was in the temple of the Lord as a dove that is nurtured: and she received food from the hand of an angel. وكانت ماري في معبد الرب باعتباره حمامة هي التي تغذي : وقالت انها تلقت الغذاء من يد الملاك.
2 And when she was twelve years old, there was a council of the priests, saying: Behold Mary is become twelve years old in the temple of the Lord. (2) ، وعندما كانت في الثانية عشرة ، وكان هناك مجلس للكهنه ، وقال : ها هي مريم تصبح اثني عشر عاما في معبد الرب. What then shall we do with her? ثم ماذا نفعل معها؟ lest she pollute the sanctuary of the Lord. واعربت عن خشية تلويث ملاذا من الرب. And they said unto the high priest: Thou standest over the altar of the Lord. وقالوا ILA رئيس الكهنه : انت standest فوق مذبح الرب. Enter in and pray concerning her: And whatsoever the Lord shall reveal to thee, that let us do. أدخل في ونصلي بشأن لها : وايا كان الرب يكشف اليك ، فلنفعل ذلك.
3 And the high priest took the vestment with the twelve bells and went in unto the Holy of Holies and prayed concerning her. 3 ورئيس الكهنه اتخذ لباس مع اثني عشر اجراس وذهب في ILA المقدسة الاقداس وصلى بشأن بلدها. And lo, an angel of the Lord appeared saying unto him: Zacharias, Zacharias, go forth and assemble them that are widowers of the people, and let them bring every man a rod, and to whomsoever the Lord shall show a sign, his wife shall she be. والصغرى ، من ملاك الرب ظهر ILA قائلا له : zacharias ، zacharias ، تذهب اليها والتي تجمع لهم الارامل من الناس ، ودعوهم جعل كل رجل أ رود ، وايا كان مرتكبوها الى الرب تظهر علامة وزوجته وقالت انها يجب ان تكون. And the heralds went forth over all the country round about Judaea, and the trumpet of the Lord sounded, and all men ran thereto. والمنادون ذهب اليها اكثر من جميع البلاد جولة حول Judaea ، وبوق من الرب بدأ ، وجميع الرجال يدير بها.
2 And Joseph refused, saying: I have sons, and I am an old man, but she is a girl: lest I became a laughing-stock to the children of Israel. (2) ، وجوزيف رفض ، وقال : لقد ابناء ، وانا رجل قديم ، لكنها فتاة : خشية أن أصبحت ضاحكه - منظر لبني اسرائيل. And the priest said unto Joseph: Hear the Lord thy God, and remember what things God did unto Dathan and Abiram and Korah, how the earth clave and they were swallowed up because of their gainsaying. وقال الكاهن جوزيف ILA : اسمع الرب خاصتك الله ، ويتذكر ما فعلت اشياء الله ILA dathan وabiram وkorah ، كيف الارض العصا وكانوا تبتلعها لما لها من النكران. And now fear thou, Joseph, lest it be so in thine house. And Joseph was afraid, and took her to keep her for himself. والخوف الآن انت ، جوزيف ، خشية ان يكون ذلك في ذين البيت. وجوزيف وتخوف ، وأخذها الى ابقاء لبلدها نفسه. And Joseph said unto Mary: Lo, I have received thee out of the temple of the Lord: and now do I leave thee in my house, and I go away to build my buildings and I will come again unto thee. وقال يوسف ILA ماري : صغرى ، وتلقيت من اصل اليك معبد الرب : والآن هل أرحل اليك في بيتي ، وانني اذهب بعيدا لبناء المباني بلدي وسآتي اليك مرة أخرى ILA. The Lord shall watch over thee. الرب يراقب اليك.
[And at that season Zacharias became dumb, and Samuel was in his stead until the time when Zacharias spake again.] But Mary took the scarlet and began to spin it. [وذلك في موسم zacharias اصبحت البكم ، وصموئيل كان له في المكان حتى الوقت الذي تمكن فيه zacharias spake مرة اخرى.] ولكن ماري أخذت القرمزي وبدأت حركة دورانيه.
And she looked about her upon the right hand and upon the left, to see whence this voice should be: and being filled with trembling she went to her house and set down the pitcher, and took the purple and sat down upon her seat and drew out the thread. وقالت انها تتطلع نحو بلدها على اليد اليمنى وعلى اليسار ، من حيث انظر الى هذا الصوت ، وينبغي أن يكون : وتعبئتها يرتجف ذهابها الى منزلها وضعها فان القاذف ، وأحاطت الارجوان وجلس على مقعده ولفت أصل الخيط.
2 And behold an angel of the Lord stood before her saying: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace before the Lord of all things, and thou shalt conceive of his word. 2 وها الملاك من اللورد وقفت امام بلدها قائلا : لا خوف ، ماري ، لأنت يمتلك وجدت نعمة امام الرب على كل شيء ، وانت سوف تصور كلمته. And she, when she heard it, questioned in herself, saying: Shall I verily conceive of the living God, and bring forth after the manner of all women? وقالت انها ، عندما سمعت انها ، وتساءل في نفسه ، قائلا : يجوز لي حقا تصور المعيشيه الله ، وتؤدي الى بعد نحو من جميع النساء؟ And the angel of the Lord said: Not so, Mary, for a power of the Lord shall overshadow thee: wherefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of the Highest. والملاك من الرب وقال : لم يكن الامر كذلك ، ماري ، لقوة الرب تطغى اليك : ولهذا السبب ايضا ان الشيء المقدس الذي يجب ان يولد من يكون بينك ودعا ابن اعلى. And thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. وانت سوف تدعو اسمه يسوع : لانه يجب انقاذ شعبه من خطاياهم. And Mary said: Behold the handmaid of the Lord is before him: be it unto me according to thy word. وقالت مريم : ها فان من خادمة الرب هو قبلة : ان ILA لى انه وفقا لكلمة خاصتك.
2 And Mary rejoiced and went away unto Elizabeth her kinswoman: and she knocked at the door. (2) ، وماري ابتهج وذهب بعيدا ILA اليزابيث قريبة لها : وقالت knocked عند الباب. And Elizabeth when she heard it cast down the scarlet (al. the wool) and ran to the door and opened it, and when she saw Mary she blessed her and said: Whence is this to me that the mother of my Lord should come unto me? اليزابيث ، وعندما سمعت انه يلقي ظلالا من اسفل القرمزي (al. الصوف) ، ودار الحديث على انها فتحت الباب و، وعندما شاهدت مريم وقالت انها تبارك لها وقال : اين هو هذا لي ان والده ربى ينبغي ان يأتي ILA لي؟ for behold that which is in me leaped and blessed thee. لذلك ها هو الذي قفز في والمباركه لي إليك. And Mary forgat the mysteries which Gabriel the archangel had told her, and she looked up unto the heaven and said: Who am I, Lord, that all the generations of the earth do bless me? وماري forgat الغموض الذي غابرييل فان رئيس الملائكة قد أخبرها ، وقالت انها تتطلع يصل ILA السماء وقال : من انا ، الرب ، ان جميع الاجيال من الارض لا يبارك لي؟
3 And she abode three months with Elizabeth, and day by day her womb grew: and Mary was afraid and departed unto her house and hid herself from the children of Israel. 3 واعربت الاقامة ثلاثة اشهر مع اليزابيث ، ويوما بعد يوم هي الرحم نمت : ماري ، وكان يخشى وILA غادرت منزلها وحجبا نفسه من بني اسرائيل. Now she was sixteen years old when these mysteries came to pass. وقالت إنها الآن ستة عشر عاما عندما اتى الى هذه الالغاز تذاكر.
2 And Joseph arose from off the sackcloth and called Mary and said unto her O thou that wast cared for by God, why hast thou done this? (2) ، وجوزيف نشأت من قبالة قماش الخيش ودعت مريم وقال ILA بلدها أو أنت ان كان الله يعتني بهم ، لماذا يمتلك انت فعلت هذا؟ thou hast forgotten the Lord thy God. أنت نسيت الرب يمتلك خاصتك الله. Why hast thou humbled thy soul, thou that wast nourished up in the Holy of Holies and didst receive food at the hand of an angel? لماذا أنت بالضاله يمتلك خاصتك الروح ، وأنت إن كان من سوء التغذيه حتى في الاقداس المقدسة وdidst الحصول على الاغذيه ، على يد الملاك؟
3 But she wept bitterly, saying: I am pure and I know not a man. 3 كنها بكي بمراره قائلا : انني نقيه صافية ، وانا لا اعرف رجلا. And Joseph said unto her: Whence then is that which is in thy womb? وقال يوسف ILA لها : ثم من حيث هو الذي خاصتك في رحم؟ and she said: As the Lord my God liveth, I know not whence it is come unto me. وقالت : كما الرب الهي liveth ، لا أعرف من أين تأتي ومن ILA لي.
2 And behold an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying: Fear not this child, for that which is in her is of the Holy Ghost, and she shall bear a son and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. 2 وها الملاك من اللورد ILA ظهر له في المنام ، وقال : لا خوف هذا الطفل ، لأنه هو الذي في بلدها هي من الاشباح المقدسة ، وأنها تتحمل ابنا وانت سوف تدعو اسمه يسوع ، لانه يجب انقاذ شعبه من خطاياهم. And Joseph arose from sleep and glorified the God of Israel which had shown this favour unto her: and he watched over her. وجوزيف نشأت من النوم وتمجيد اله اسرائيل الذي أظهر هذه صالح ILA قالت : وكان يشاهد اكثر من بلدها.
2 And he went hastily to the priest and said unto him: Joseph, to whom thou bearest witness [that he is righteous] hath sinned grievously. 2 وذهب على عجل الى الكاهن ILA وقال له : جوزيف ، لمن أنت الشاهد bearest [انه الصالحين] هاث أخطأ بشكل شديد. And the priest said: Wherein? وقال الكاهن : فيه؟ And he said: The virgin whom he received out of the temple of the Lord, he hath defiled her, and married her by stealth (lit. stolen her marriage), and hath not declared it to the children of Israel. وقال : العذراء التي تلقاها من خارج معبد الرب ، وقال انه هاث مدنس بلدها ، وتزوج بها اليها خلسه (lit. المسروقه زواجها) ، وأعلنت أنها لا هاث لبني اسرائيل. And the priest answered and said: Hath Joseph done this? واجاب الكاهن وقال : جوزيف هاث فعلت هذا؟ And Annas the scribe said: Send officers, and thou shalt find the virgin great with child. وقال annas فإن الكاتب : ارسال ضباط ، وانت سوف تجد العذراء مع الطفل الكبير. And the officers went and found as he had said, and they brought her together with Joseph unto the place of judgement. وذهب ضباط وجدت كما سبق له ان قال ، وأحضروا لها جنبا الى جنب مع جوزيف ILA مكان الحكم.
3 And the priest said: Mary, wherefore hast thou done this, and wherefore hast thou humbled thy soul and forgotten the Lord thy God, thou that wast nurtured in the Holy of Holies and didst receive food at the hand of an angel and didst hear the hymns and didst dance before the Lord, wherefore hast thou done this? 3 وقال الكاهن : ماري ، ولهذا السبب يمتلك انت فعلت هذا ، ولهذا السبب وانت بالضاله يمتلك خاصتك الروح وتنسي الرب خاصتك الله ، وانت إن كان في رعايتها المقدسة الاقداس وdidst الحصول على الاغذيه ، على يد الملاك وdidst استماع التراتيل والرقص didst قبل الرب ، ولهذا السبب يمتلك انت فعلت هذا؟
But she wept bitterly, saying: As the Lord my God liveth I am pure before him and I know not a man. لكنها بكي بمراره قائلا : كما الرب الهي liveth انا نقيه امامه وانا لا اعرف رجلا.
4 And the priest said unto Joseph: Wherefore hast thou done this? (4) ، والقس جوزيف ILA قال : ولهذا السبب يمتلك انت فعلت هذا؟ And Joseph said: As the Lord my God liveth I am pure as concerning her. وقال يوسف : كما الرب الهي liveth انا نقيه كما يتعلق بلدها. And the priest said: Bear no false witness but speak the truth: thou hast married her by stealth and hast not declared it unto the children of Israel, and hast not bowed thine head under the mighty hand that thy seed should be blessed. وقال الكاهن : لا تتحمل كاذبة ولكن الشاهد قول الحقيقة : انت متزوج يمتلك لها طريق الخلسه واعلن انه لا يمتلك ILA بني اسرائيل ، ويمتلك رئيس ذين لا انحنى تحت الاقوياء من جهة ان خاصتك البذور ينبغي المباركه. And Joseph held his peace. وعقدت له جوزيف السلام.
2 And the priest took thereof and made Joseph drink and sent him into the hill-country. (2) ، وأخذت منه الكاهن وقدم جوزيف الشراب وبعث اليه في تلة - البلد. And he returned whole. وعاد كله. He made Mary also drink and sent her into the hill-country. وقال انه تقدم ايضا ماري والشراب وارسلت الى بلدها التل - البلد. And she returned whole. وعادت الجامعة. And all the people marvelled, because sin appeared not in them. وجميع الناس متعجب ، لأن الخطيئة لا يبدو فيها.
3 And the priest said: If the Lord God hath not made your sin manifest, neither do I condemn you. 3 الكاهن وقال : اذا كان الرب الاله هاث لا تقدم بخطيءتك واضح ، لا أقوم ندين لكم. And he let them go. وقال انه تخلى عنها. And Joseph took Mary and departed unto his house rejoicing, and glorifying the God of Israel. واحاط جوزيف ماري وغادرت منزله ILA ابتهاج ، ويسبحون الله من اسرائيل.
2 And he saddled the she-ass, and set her upon it, and his son led it and Joseph followed after. 2 وقال انه - وقالت انها مثقله فإن الحمار ، وحدد لها عليه ، وأنها أدت ابنه جوزيف واتباعه بعد. And they drew near (unto Bethlehem) within three miles: and Joseph turned himself about and saw her of a sad countenance and said within himself: Peradventure that which is within her paineth her. وانهم مع اقتراب (ILA بيت لحم) في غضون ثلاثة اميال : وجوزيف تحولت عن نفسه وشهد لها حزين الطلعه داخل نفسه وقال : ان الذي هو في حالة داخل بلدها paineth بلدها. And again Joseph turned himself about and saw her laughing, and said unto her: Mary, what aileth thee that I see thy face at one time laughing and at another time sad? ومرة اخرى جوزيف تحولت عن نفسه وشهد لها ضاحكه ، وقال ILA لها : ماري ، ما aileth اليك ان ارى خاصتك وجه في وقت واحد وضاحكه وحزينة في وقت آخر؟ And Mary said unto Joseph: It is because I behold two peoples with mine eyes, the one weeping and lamenting and the other rejoicing and exulting. وقالت ماري جوزيف ILA : ومن لأني ها الشعبين مع الالغام العيون ، والبكاء والرثاء واحدة وغيرها من الابتهاج والاغتباط.
3 And they came to the midst of the way, and Mary said unto him: Take me down from the ass, for that which is within me presseth me, to come forth. 3 وجاءوا الى وسط الطريق ، وماري ILA قال له : خذني إلى أسفل من الحمار ، لأنه هو الذي ضمن لي presseth لي ، لتتقدم. And he took her down from the ass and said unto her: Whither shall I take thee to hide thy shame? وقالت انه يعتبر من اسفل مؤخرة ILA وقال لها : الى أين سوف اغتنم اليك لاخفاء العار خاصتك؟ for the place is desert. هو المكان المخصص للصحراء.
2 Now I Joseph was walking, and I walked not. 2 أنا الآن جوزيف كان يسير ، وانا لا ساروا. And I looked up to the air and saw the air in amazement. ورفع البصر الى الهواء الجوي ، وشاهد في ذهول. And I looked up unto the pole of the heaven and saw it standing still, and the fowls of the heaven without motion. والبصر ILA قطب السماء وراوا انها لا تزال الداءمه ، والطيور من السماء دون حركة. And I looked upon the earth and saw a dish set, and workmen lying by it, and their hands were in the dish: and they that were chewing chewed not, and they that were lifting the food lifted it not, and they that put it to their mouth put it not thereto, but the faces of all of them were looking upward. وانا ينظرون اليهم الارض ، وشهدت مجموعة الطبق ، والعمال الكذب بها ، وكانت ايديهم في الصحن : وانها ان كانت لا ممضوغ المضغ ، وانهم ان تم رفع اغذية انها لا ترفع ، وانها ان وضعها لانها لا تضع الفم بها ، ولكن وجوه وكلهم كانوا يبحثون التصاعدي. And behold there were sheep being driven, and they went not forward but stood still; and the shepherd lifted his hand to smite them with his staff, and his hand remained up. ها وكانت هناك الاغنام التي تجري قيادتها ، وذهبوا الى الامام ولكن لا وقفت ولا تزال ؛ والراعي يرفع يده الى اضرب لهم مع موظفيه ، ويده لا تزال تصل. And I looked upon the stream of the river and saw the mouths of the kids upon the water and they drank not. وانا ينظرون اليهم تيار النهر ، وشاهد من افواه الاطفال على الماء ، وانهم لا يشربون. And of a sudden all things moved onward in their course. ومفاجئ للجميع الامور تحركت قدما في مسارها.
And the midwife said unto him: Is this the truth? وقابله ILA قال له : هل هذه هي الحقيقة؟ And Joseph said unto her: Come hither and see. وقال يوسف ILA قالت : تأتي أقرب وانظر. And the midwife went with him. وقابله ذهب معه.
2 And they stood in the place of the cave: and behold a bright cloud overshadowing the cave. (2) ، وانها وقفت في مكان الكهف : ها ومشرق سحابة يطغى الكهف. And the midwife said: My soul is magnified this day, because mine eyes have seen marvellous things: for salvation is born unto Israel. والقابلات وقال : روحي هو تضخيم هذا اليوم ، لأن الالغام اعين شهدت رائع امور : لILA الخلاص هو من مواليد اسرائيل. And immediately the cloud withdrew itself out of the cave, and a great light appeared in the cave so that our eyes could not endure it. وعلى الفور السحابه سحبت نفسها للخروج من الكهف ، وكثيرا ما يبدو في ضوء ذلك ان الكهف أعيننا أنه لا يمكن ان يدوم. And by little and little that light withdrew itself until the young child appeared: and it went and took the breast of its mother Mary. وقبل قليل وضئيل على ضوء ذلك انسحبت نفسها حتى الاطفال الصغار يبدو : وانها ذهبت واخذت من ثدي أمه مريم.
And the midwife cried aloud and said: Great unto me to-day is this day, in that ! وقابله ابكي بصوت عال وقال : عظيم ILA لي - لهذا اليوم هو اليوم ، في آن! have seen this new sight. وقد شهدت هذا الأفق الجديد.
3 And the midwife went forth of the cave and Salome met her. (3) ، وذهب اليها قابلة للكهف وSalome اجتمع لها. And she said to her: Salome, Salome, a new sight have I to tell thee. وقالت لها : Salome ، Salome ، جديدة وهلة أنني قد اقول اليك. A virgin hath brought forth, which her nature alloweth not. عذراء هاث جلبت اليها ، والتي ليست لها طبيعه alloweth. And Salome said: As the Lord my God liveth, if I make not trial and prove her nature I will not believe that a virgin hath brought forth. Salome وقال : كما الرب الهي liveth ، واذا كنت لا تجعل المحاكمه ويثبت لها طابع انني لن نؤمن بأن عذراء هاث جلبت اليها.
2 And she bowed her knees unto the Lord, saying: O God of my fathers, remember that I am the seed of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob: make me not a public example unto the children of Israel, but restore me unto the poor, for thou knowest, Lord, that in thy name did I perform my cures, and did receive my hire of thee. (2) ، وقالت انها انحنى لها الركبتين ILA الرب قائلا : يا رب من بلدي الآباء ، وتذكر أن انا بذرة ابراهيم واسحق ويعقوب : لا تجعلني عامة مثلا ILA بني اسرائيل ، ولكن استعادة لي ILA الفقراء ، لانت تعلم يا رب ، ان اسم خاصتك في اداء انني لم بلادي علاج ، وبالفعل تلقى بلدي استئجار اليك.
3 And lo, an angel of the Lord appeared, saying unto her: Salome, Salome, the Lord hath hearkened to thee: bring thine hand near unto the young child and take him up, and there shall be unto thee salvation and joy. 3 والصغرى ، من ملاك الرب ظهر ، قائلا ILA قالت : Salome ، Salome ، الرب مصغي الى لهاث اليك : احلال ذين ناحية قرب ILA الاطفال الصغار ويأخذ معه ، ويكون هناك ILA اليك الخلاص والفرح.
4 And Salome came near and took him up, saying: I will do him worship, for a great king is born unto Israel. 4 وجاء Salome قرب ، واقتادوه يصل ، وقال : سأفعل له العبادة ، لعظيم الملك هو من مواليد ILA اسرائيل. And behold immediately Salome was healed: and she went forth of the cave justified. وعلى الفور Salome ها هو تلتئم : وذهبت اليها من كهف ما يبرره. And Io, a voice saying: Salome, Salome, tell none of the marvels which thou hast seen, until the child enter into Jerusalem. والاعلام والتوعيه ، وصوت قائلا : Salome ، Salome ، اخبر ايا من الاعاجيب التي انت يمتلك ينظر ، حتى الطفل بالدخول في القدس.
2 And when Herod heard it he was troubled and sent officers unto the wise men. 2 وعندما herod يسمعها كان المضطربه وارسل ضباط ILA الحكماء. And he sent for the high priests and examined them, saying: How is it written concerning the Christ, where he is born? وبعث لارتفاع الكهنه ودرس لهم ، قائلا : كيف يتم مكتوبة بشأن المسيح ، حيث ولادته؟ They say unto him: In Bethlehem of Judaea: for so it is written. ILA يقولون له : في بيت لحم من Judaea : لذلك وهو مكتوب. And he let them go. وقال انه تخلى عنها. And he examined the wise men, saying unto them: What sign saw ye concerning the king that is born? ودرس الحكماء ، ILA قائلا لهم : ما علامة شهدت يي يتعلق الملك أن يولد؟ And the wise men said: We saw a very great star shining among those stars and dimming them so that the stars appeared not: and thereby knew we that a king was born unto Israel, and we came to worship him. وقال الحكماء : شاهدنا كبيرة جدا النجم الساطع بين اولئك النجوم ويعتم عليها حتى لا تبدو النجوم : ونحن على علم بذلك ان الملك ولد ILA اسرائيل ، وتوصلنا الى نتيجة العبادة له. And Herod said: Go and seek for him, and if ye find him, tell me, that I also may come and worship him. Herod وقال : اذهب ويسعى له ، واذا كنتم من العثور عليه ، قل لي ، كما انني قد حان والعبادة له.
3 And the wise men went forth. (3) ، والحكماء ذهب اليها. And lo, the star which they saw in the east went before them until they entered into the cave: and it stood over the head of the cave. والصغرى ، والنجم الذي رأوا في الشرق ذهب قبلهم حتى انها دخلت الكهف : انها وقفت على رأسه من الكهف. And the wise men saw the young child with Mary, his mother: and they brought out of their scrip gifts, gold-and frankincense and myrrh. والحكماء رأى الطفل الصغير مع ماري ، والدته : لقد أحضروا وحرصا منهم على ايصال الهدايا والذهب واللبان ونبات المر.
4 And being warned by the angel that they should not enter into Judaea, they went into their own country by another way. 4 يجري وحذر من انجيل انه لا ينبغي لها ان تدخل حيز Judaea ، ذهبوا الى بلادهم عن طريق وسيلة اخرى.
2 And when Mary heard that the children were being slain, she was afraid, and took the young child and wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid him in an ox-manger. 2 وعندما استمع ماري ان الاطفال يجرى قتلت ، لأنها تخاف ، واخذ الاطفال الصغار والتقميط ملفوفه في ملابس وضعت له في الثور - المعلف.
3 But Elizabeth when she heard that they sought for John, took him and went up into the hill-country and looked about her where she should hide him: and there was no hiding-place. 3 اليزابيث ولكن عندما سمعت ان الذين سعوا لجون ، واقتادوه ارتفع الى التل - بلد وتتطلع نحو بلدها حيث انها ينبغي ان يخفي له : وليس هناك المخبأ. And Elizabeth groaned and said with a loud voice: 0 mountain of God, receive thou a mother with a child. وقالت اليزابيث مانون ومع بصوت عال : 0 جبال الله ، انت تتلقى الأم مع الطفل. For Elizabeth was not able to go up. اليزابيث ليست قادرة على ان يرتفع. And immediately the mountain clave asunder and took her in. And there was a light shining alway for them: for an angel of the Lord was with them, keeping watch over them. وعلى الفور الجبال العصا اربا وأخذها بوصات ، وكان هناك ضوء ساطع الواي لهم : لملاك الرب كان معهم ، ومنهم ما يزيد على المراقبة.
2 And the officers departed and told Herod all these things. (2) ، وغادرت المكتب وقال herod كل هذه الامور. And Herod was wroth and said: His son is to be king over Israel. وكان herod ثاءربشده واستنكاري وقال : هي ابنة ليكون الملك على اسرائيل. And he sent unto him again, saying: Say the truth: where is thy son? وبعث ILA له مرة اخرى ، قائلا : قول الحقيقة : أين هو ابن خاصتك؟ for thou knowest that thy blood is under my hand. لأنت تعلم ان خاصتك الدم هو تحت يدي. And the officers departed and told him all these things. وغادرت المكتب وقال له : كل هذه الامور.
3 And Zacharias said: I am a martyr of God if thou sheddest my blood: for my spirit the Lord shah receive, because thou sheddest innocent blood in the fore-court of the temple of the Lord. 3 وzacharias قال : أنا شهيد الله اذا انت sheddest دمي : بلدي لروح الرب استقبال شاه ، لأن انت sheddest دماء الابرياء في المقدمة - محكمة معبد الرب.
And about the dawning of the day Zacharias was slain. وحول بزوغ فجر اليوم zacharias كان مقتول. And the children of Israel knew not that he was slain. وبني اسرائيل لم يعلم أنه كان مقتول.
2 But as he delayed to come, they were all afraid: and one of them took courage and entered in: and he saw beside the altar congealed blood: and a voice saying: Zacharias hath been slain, and his blood shall not be wiped out until his avenger come. 2 ولكن لأنه تأخر قادمة ، فقد كانوا جميعا يخشون : واحد من التقطوا الشجاعه ودخلت في : ورأى بجانب مذبح congealed الدم : وصوت قائلا : zacharias هاث تم مقتول ، ودمه لا يجوز ابيدوا حتى يأتي صاحب المنتقم. And when he heard that word he was afraid, and went forth and told the priests. وعندما سمع ان كلمة خشي ، وذهب اليها وقال الكهنه.
3 And they took courage and went in and saw that which was done: and the panels of the temple did wail: and they rent their clothes from the top to the bottom. 3 واخذوا الشجاعه وذهب في ورأت ان الذي حدث : والفريقين من المعبد لم وائل : وانهم الايجار ملابسهم من اعلى الى اسفل. And his body they found not, but his blood they found turned into stone. وعثروا على جثته لا ، ولكن دمه وجدوا تحولت الى حجر. And they feared, and went forth and told all the people that Zacharias was slain. وعبروا عن مخاوفهم ، وذهب اليها وقال ان كل الناس كانت zacharias مقتول. And all the tribes of the people heard it, and they mourned for him and lamented him three days and three nights. وجميع القبائل من يسمعها الناس ، وانهم حزن له ورثى له ثلاثة ايام وثلاث ليال. And after the three days the priests took counsel whom they should set in his stead: and the lot came up upon Symeon. وبعد ثلاثة ايام من الكهنه واحاط المحامي ينبغي لها ان مجموعة منهم في بلدة بدلا منه : وجاء الكثير حتى عند symeon. Now he it was which was warned by the Holy Ghost that he should not see death until he should see the Christ in the flesh. وقال انه الآن وكأن الذي كان حذر من الاشباح المقدسة انه لا ينبغي ان ترى الموت حتى انه ينبغي ان نرى المسيح في الجسد.
Glorifying the Lord God which gave me the gift, and the wisdom to write this history. تمجيد الرب الاله الذي اعطاني هدية ، والحكمة على كتابة هذا التاريخ.
2 And grace shall be with those that fear our Lord Jesus Christ: to whom be glory for ever and ever. 2 نعمة ويكون مع تلك التي تخشى من ربنا يسوع المسيح : لتكون من المجد الى الأبد ، والى الأبد. Amen. آمين.
